Finally out of the shadows

Hello, Everyone! I've been a lurker on LQ for quite some time. I started using Linux exclusively in 2010 and found most answers to my n00b questions here. Finally registered today because, for the first time, I found a question that has not been asked or seems to have ever been encountered lol - as frustrating as it is, I love these battles with Tux. Hope to provide some input to other new users as they come along in the future.
