Rep:
Slackware setting my default ESSID ?
Hi all,
I've googled around, read the wlan-ng and searched lq-forums, but stil haven't found the solution.
I have a Netgear MA401 card working flawlessly, IF and only IF i run the command
Code:
iwconfig eth1 essid "MYESSID"
dhcpcd eth1
I want to set this essid to be the default, so that at bootup the essid is set to "MYESSID"
I've managed to do so with kwifimanager on my previous install, but i figured: Hey I should be able to set this somewhere in a config file without the use of kwifimanager...
