Talking shared WEP


I have successfully install madwifi... letme reword this...

I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED MADWIFI!!! WOOHOOO!!!!


I figured out how to connect to unencrypted APs, but I can't figure out what procedure to take for encrypted APs with Open OR Shared WEP (shared being most important to me right now)

How do I do that?

I have seached LQ and google and I couldn't fix my issue. I want to try to fix it here

Try this

iwconfig <NIC> key <wep key>

man iwconfig

haha... I read the manuals and googled too.

It didn't seam to work in a Share Key environment though. Open works nicely, just not Shared...
