manually wireless configuration on suse

hi everybody i am tried to look for things on the net to help me to configure my pc on wireless

this is the situation i didnt found anything and i dont how where to start:

my pc is a toshiba satelite pro 4200 series
my wireless card is a air-pcm340
2.4ghz ds 11 mbps
my kernel is a suse 8.1 with kernel 2.4.19-4GB

I started for trying to do iwconfig and it tell me command not found when i put the card the green light started and i have an orange light that is on/off

i am driving crazy
help me

I just tried mine, hope it will be helpful:

#rcpcmcia restart
#modprobe i82365
#cardmgr

and then you should be able to detect signal. good luck.
