OK, I'll ask the obvious: Is the firmware installed?
i found asimilar thread here n got from that i hav to cut thefirmware from the windows driver ni did the same ..n the firmware are placed in the /lib/firmware.....
i got the radio uponetime but when i rebooted .. it hangd up.. i dunno whats gng on .... can u help me..
should i go for the particular broadcom driver for linux from the net ....
The best place to start, I think, is a list of details - the precise chipset of the card or the relevant part of lspci -v, the kernel version and the driver file you used to extract the firmware.
ndiswrapper is an option, and has some advantages over the bcm43xx driver. If you go that route, make sure the bcm43xx is not loaded at the same time, though.
i just installed the firmware which i cut from the windows driver ..
thelink is gettin actve when i m specifying the ip ..address ,, ie statis ip .. it is not able to get the ip from the dhcp .. i think i should be the problemof not recognizing the server ,, ..
