Lenovo 3000 N100 debian unstable
Hi! My University bought some new Lenovo (formerly IBM) 3000 N100, very nice piece of hardware, Sata hard disk, 512 mb RAM, Wireless, Lan, XGA, etc... but I'm having some trouble getting this to work.
I'm running linux, and after some trouble with the wireless (Intel3945ABG) it's working with some minor problems. The Video is running, but at a low resolution and in VESA Mode. The sound is not working, it seems to be related to problems in the ACPI.
My kernel is (downloaded from kernel.org) 2.6.16.20.
Is there anyone with the same hardware around that can help me? Thanks!
PS: Basically:
1) Audio -> Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)... recognized by the latest alsa,(1.0.11), but it cannot use irq...
2) Video -> Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
Thanks again!
