Why does the make command not work?

This is a strange issue. I just installed suse 9.1 on my laptop, which has an internal broadcom wireless card. I need to install ndiswrapper to load the proper driver, but for some reason when i try to use make to install it I get an error saying make is not a valid command. Help? Please?

Usually means it's not installed. If it is installed, ensure that the directory it's in is part of $PATH.

zakaluka.

You have to make sure the Development Tools are installed. Check that in YaST
