VSFTP: 500 OOPS: unrecognised variable in config file


Hi Guys,

When i run: /usr/sbin/vsftpd &

I get: 500 OOPS: unrecognised variable in config file

Here is my config file, can you see anything wrong ?

Just realised i have installed an outdated rpm version, soooo i have removed it and installed the newest source version. Everything is working fine . . . it think ! However when i go to login it just says my password is incorrect, i KNOW it's NOT !

[root@localhost home]# ftp mydomain.com
Connected to mydomain.com (84.77.54.159).
220 (vsFTPd 2.0.3)
Name (mydomain.com:charlie): myusername
331 Please specify the password.
Password:
530 Login incorrect.
Login failed.
ftp>
Why ????

Why ????
No need to yell and type a bunch of ?'s.. geez.. So what user are you trying to login as? Are you sure they're not in the ftpusers file to not have access.. can't really help you out much if you truly are typing the password wrong.. unless you want to provide that info..
