viewer for interactive PDFs?


trying to find a program aside from acrobat that will allow me to view/edit interactive pdf forms. i really like kghostview, but it doesn't seem to support it. anything else out there?

I think that Adobe has a copywrite or legal right to .pdf. I think that Adobe is the only way to edit a .pdf. You can go to all the trouble of converting the file to another format, for example pdf2ps editing it then changing it back to .pdf. Or just use Adobe for now. Someone else may know more.

To edit a PDF that someone else has built you'll need Adobe Acrobat (no linux port at this moment because of legal issues). Though there are many ways to make PDFs from Linux. OpenOffice is the easiest way with its Export to PDF function. You can also set up virtual PDF printers which do the same.
