Using my modem through vmware and going online
Hi!
My modem is not supported under linux. It has that conexant chip and I cant buy the driver since its in dollars and I am in a third world country and no seems to be willing to give me that driver for free.
Any way what I want to ask is that can I use my modem through vmware to connec to the internet. I am trying to learn linux and the only way to do so is to start using it. Now to switch between windows and linux again and again is a bit cumbersome. Can't wait that long startup.
And If I can use the modem that way than should I use the firefox that is installed on win or the one that is installed on linux.
