Unreal Tournament no mouse

I am having a problem with my mouse showing up in Unreal Tournament. The weird thing is that the mouse is there, I just can't see it. The menu items light up but i can't see where the mouse is, i have to guess. Quake3 runs w/o a hitch for me so i was wondering why i would have no mouse in UT. Is this an SDL problem? any help would be appreciated, thnx

I am running slackware 9.0 and a Matrox G450 if that is any help.

I have reported this as a bug to XFree86. Apparently there is a bug in the Matrox DRI driver in XFree86 4.3.

My current work - around is to run XFree86 4.21 from Slackware 8.1 plus updates.

If you use gnome or kde, you may also wish to uninstall the Slacware 9.0 versions of these and replace them with the 8.1 versions.

It might help if you would send a "me too" message to the XFree86 people. My bug case is: 526.

They claim that this has been fixed in CVS. I don't use the Matrox card anymore, so I haven't tested this, myself.
