unbuntu problem


i just installed unbuntubut my linux machine is not on the net,i want to install xmms and mplayer as totem wont play my avi cdrs.can anyone tell me what to do.(hooking it up to the net and downloading is not possable at the mo)many thanx

As far as I think, there would be no better and cheap sources available for installing mplayer and xmms, than THE INTERNET. You could download it and burn it to a CD from the place you have used the Internet to post this message, and install XMMS and Mplayer in Ubuntu.

Xmovie too is good
