Syngo CT Scanner - read the files??

Marooned in a nursing home ATM, and internet is pitiful. Excuse lack of checking.

CT Scans have been taken under a proprietary Siemens system called Syngo Its locked down fairly brutally (restrictions on copying, etc.). But the hospital is 15 years old, and opened with a CT Scanner, so I presume patents have lapsed. Is there a Linux reader for syngo files that will show the graphics?

The images of the slices must be stored as DICOM:

If you are looking at raw data, well that's something else.

There are plenty of DICOM viewers for Linux, just search for them.

So there are. You seem to have travelled this ground before me. Grabbed kradview to try. I had thought of installing the Siemens thing under wine, but I don't want it if there's a less restricted offering.
