Syngo CT Scanner - read the files??
Marooned in a nursing home ATM, and internet is pitiful. Excuse lack of checking.
CT Scans have been taken under a proprietary Siemens system called Syngo Its locked down fairly brutally (restrictions on copying, etc.). But the hospital is 15 years old, and opened with a CT Scanner, so I presume patents have lapsed. Is there a Linux reader for syngo files that will show the graphics? |
The images of the slices must be stored as DICOM:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DICOM If you are looking at raw data, well that's something else. |

fastview Thanks for that. found a viewer - out of nursing home for the weekend. Internet there is pnly 3G devices. The place is located where the Bermuda Triangle intersects with the Twilight Zone:-/ |
There are plenty of DICOM viewers for Linux, just search for them.

So there are. You seem to have travelled this ground before me. Grabbed kradview to try. I had thought of installing the Siemens thing under wine, but I don't want it if there's a less restricted offering.
