svga installtion problems

I'm running Redhat 7.2, and am trying to install svga 1.4.3. After I do a make install everything seems to install correctly, except the man pages. But when I try to run any of the svga demo's, I get this error: error while loading shared libraries: libvgagl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory. Does anyone have nay ideas?

I've gotten a little farther. I added the correct path to the ld.so.conf file. now when I try to run the demo's I get this errror. /lib/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.3 not found (required by /usr/local/lib/libvga.so.1)
