svga installtion problems

I'm running Redhat 7.2, and am trying to install svga 1.4.3. After I do a make install everything seems to install correctly, except the man pages. But when I try to run any of the svga demo's, I get this error: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory. Does anyone have nay ideas?
