Suse7.0 Installation problem?

I have Suse 7.0 Linux CD,and problem with installing suse.IN bios i change to boot from cd and i boot from it.After that Suse 7.0 installation begins.I go in X installation mode and there I have to chose language,detecting hardware,chosing paswords and personal information.After that,suse tell me that installation is finished!!!???But how?I didnt install the packages and other stuff.Suse give me the prompt for login and i type root and pass.Then i have a shell...After that,I restart computer and expecting lilo but nothing...
HOW TO INSTALL SUSE?WHERE IS REAL INSTALLATION OF PACKAGES,LILO...IS IT MY CD OKAY?
Please help me and sorry for my bed english

Try text mode installation, I had a similar problem with Suse 7.2 in graphical mode. It worked fine in text mode..
