suggest kernel version


i am updating my kernel... i want to compile 2.6.....should i go for 2.6.5 or 2.6.7
suggest and plz tell why so?

2.6.5....

Its always good to stay *just behind* the pack for safety. Personally, I'm still using 2.4.*

2.6.7 does fix that nasty local exploit.

I say 2.4.26 too!
Personaly, I think, 2.6.x is just too new!
One more thing!
The 2.4.x series has got 2.4.9 already, so, I think 2.6.x will go until 2.6.9, then they "ll start again with 2.6.0.1, 2.6.0.2... 2.6.26....2.6.9.9.
Am I right?
