Stopping outgoing spam

Hello,

I hope this is the corrrect place to post this mesage.

I manage an email server running sendmail that has many dial up users conecting to it. The problem is that users are getting infected with some sort of trojan or virus and then spamming through my mail server to all over the Internet.

Does anyone know of a solution to stop this? I would be happy to block all mail on port 25, but this wouldn't help because it's coming through my mail server.

Any advice is much apppreciated.

Dave

I don't think there's much you can do other than clean up the client computers. You can also configure a virus checker with your sendmail so that all outgoing mails are checked for virus.

Try some suggestions given on these websites
