Still having crashing problems with my system :(

Hello,

I posted on the forums a few days ago about problems I am having with my computer crashing a lot, it seems to crash on average 2-3 times a day, and mostly at the start of a day, sometimes I have noticed it when using sound related programs, can anyone help me fix this?
I was going to switch to another distro, but I have decided to stay with what I have and see if I can fix it instead, as there are a lot of other things I like about Suse.

I have saved the log files into a text file but they are too long to post here, but I could post certain parts of it if someone can give me an idea which would be helpful to post.

Thanks

Well, we need more information. Can you reproduce the crashes? Does the whole system freeze, or just XWindows? Behavior when pressing CapsLock/NumLock?

Okay, I dont seem to be able to reproduce the crashes as it all seems very random, usually what happens is KDE just locks completly, I cant move the mouse or do anything and I just have to reboot from the button on my baseunit, I have noticed when I do this after a crash it seems to take longer to boot up and more text of it starting up is shown rather than just the suse graphical screens, although it does them move into them.

I have saved a log file of the day one of the system crashes took place, is there a partcular section I could post? As I am not sure which section to paste into here, as it all looks like binary code to me!

How big is the logfile? If you have any webspace available, could you just post it there? Otherwise, you could email it to me and I could post it on a website and link to it here.

Well, I don't know what kind of sections there are in this logfile. Is it a system-wide log? Those don't really have sections, but the last 20 lines before the crash or so might be helpful.

The crash would've occured right before the line that says
Code:
Jul 27 14:19:03 linux syslogd 1.4.1: restart.
. Some sort of iptables logs. I'll look more deeply in the morning.
