sounds from KDE

My computer makes sounds, little tones like a piano key being stuck or something but I have no idea why. Is it trying to tell me something and if so , what? I don't really mind the sounds, they aren't excessive or anything but I always feel like I'm missing something. Slackware64 14.1/KDE

This is just a guess but could it be coming from your event notifier?

Look in Settings-->System Settings-->Application and System Notifications-->Manage Notifications/System Bell.

I don't use KDE regularly, but I think that's a good place to start.
