SMTP/ Postfix / IMAP-POP3 / Courier ??

I need a little help with my mailserver...

I have installed Postfix on my Redhat (Fedora Core 1) - but is Postfix only for outgoing mail (SMTP) ?

Can i setup Courier as IMAP server (IMAP/POP3) and Postfix as SMTP server ? Is it a stupid soulution ? Other suggestions I only need one domain to run on my server.

No, Postfix will listen on port 25 of your server, and receive incoming mail, too.

No, as far as I know it is quite a good and common solution (though I do not use them myself).

Actually that's what I did for the last server I had to set up at work
Postfix will send email e get it to be locally available. If you need POP and/or IMAP you should use some other server just like Courier
