This has probably been asked a zillion times but, how does one get music cd's to work in Slack 8.0. I have my emu10k1 up and running and sound tests fine, my volume is turned up in sound mixer.kscd shows my cd is playing but no sound. This is my entry in etc/fstab " /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0 " Could this be a problem? I copied that line from my SuSE 7.3 box cuz everything works fine on it. So, do you good people have a solution?
Sorry to take so long to reply,but yep I'm cabled just fine cuz I can play music in SuSE(have multiboot with SuSE and Win2k).This has me stumped now.Thanks for the replys all.Anymore thoughts on this people?
