skype with 64 bit linux, call failed: problem with audio playback


I'm getting this error when trying to make calls with Skype in 64 bit FC8. I downloaded the static linked Skype for Linux from skype.com. ldd doesn't report any 32 bit libs missing.

Have you ever tried out with skype from RH repository?

I have it working now by using the non beta release.
