Setting the default browser for Ximian Evolution mail client.

I was just wondering how one would go about setting the default browser in Ximian Evolution e-mail client on a RedHat9 system.

Currently when I click on a link in an e-mail Mozilla opens up to display the web page. I prefer to use Opera but am clueless as to how to set the default browser so that it will use Opera instead of Mozilla. I have found nothing in the settings that influences which browser is called.

If by chance you need any additional information in regards to helping me find a solution to this most annoying problem please feel free to ask.

I think you have to try to change your prefered browser in the gnome settings. Does changing the browser in the program

gnome-default-applications-properties

help (It should also be under something like Settings -> Prefered Applications in the menu)?
You could also try to change the gconf-key /desktop/gnome/applications/browser/exec with gconf-editor.

Well,
I generally use KDE, so in that aspect your reply wasn't much help.

BUT...

It gave me the idea to look beyond Evolution for the solution.
