Rythmbox driver problem

Upon starting my player I try to play a song and get the following message spit at me:

"Alsa device "default" is already in use by another program."
followed by:
"Could not pause playback"

Now, I am using OSS for my sound, not Alsa. How can I specify rythmbox to use OSS by default instead of Alsa? In XMMS it was just a plugin switch setting and my music would play fine.

Any help would be appreciated!

did you find out what this was? or how to fix it?

I have the same problem. I am guessing that my default device is not set to my soundcard but to something else but I dont know how to change it.
