Redhat 9 Sendmail errors?


Hello,
I'm trying to send email from Sendmail,
but it doesn't get delivered,
when i look in the error logs i see this:

I'm not sure what any of that means,
and this part "warning: /etc/hosts.allow, line 5: missing newline or line too long"
not sure whats going on here,, because i have nothing in the file at all.

any ideas as to what is wrong here??
