Hi folks,

I had a qmail server with Redhat 8 on it. My qmail server was running just fine. After I upgraded to Redhat 9, all my qmail processes (qmail-send, qmail-send/log, qmail-smtpd, qmail-smtpd/log, qmail-pop3d, qmail-pop3d/log) give the following error:

Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno or h_errno directly. Needs to be fixed.

I've been reading various forums and websites about this problem, but I haven't found a step by step guide to fixing this problem without loosing all of my current qmail configuration.

If anybody can give me or point me to a step by step guide to fixing this problem and still keep my qmail users and configurations intact I will greatly appreciate it.

P.S. I am fairly new (less than 1 year experience) to qmail, so I may be missing some basic qmail knowledge.

i think it is RH9's promblem.
you and me may be make a same mistake that install or update system to RH9

i have resolved this problem by reinstall RH8,i think you shoud try it.
a lot of software can't work fine on RH9. perhaps RH9 is NOT a prefct system.
