Sendmail errors - in logs


These are what i am getting in my /var/log/mail/errors and warning log files:

Jan 31 07:22:50 localhost sendmail[5345]: gethostbyaddr( failed: 1

Jan 31 07:29:22 localhost sendmail[5771]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): No local mailer defined
Jan 31 07:29:22 localhost sendmail[5771]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): QueueDirectory (Q) option must be set

Can some one shed some light.
