Real Plyer...hehe ;) Giving me Real Problems..

Hi to all the lovely people @ LQ
Guys could anyone give me the command to uninstall Real Player and could some one tell me whats the possible cause of getting no sound in real player.
I tested sound with other media players and it works fine and when i play news clips @ bbc.co.uk, the video plays but no sound with realplayer.
I have installed RealPlayer 10 Gold according to the instructions given and i did create a symlink as showed in another post by a senior member which was
#ln -s /usr/local/RealPlayer/mozilla/* /usr/lib/mozilla-1.7.3/plugins/

Could someone kindly give me a bit of advice on what to do, cuz i played with this this for a while so i decided to uninstall it and do a reinstallation....may be it might work....
If i should uninstall then whats the command and how do i do a complete uninstallation in one go?
