Raid0 doesn't work on boot?
So um, i've used RAID in the past, with the whole mkraid thing. But i'm now using mdadm, and I can't get it to work.
I'm trying to set /dev/sdb1 and /dev/sdc1 in RAID0. I did mdadm --create, it created /dev/md0. The drives were Linux raid autodetect before I did any of this though. I did mke2fs /dev/md0 and I was able to mount and read-write to it. I than edited my /etc/fstab and reboot. And I get a Unable to read superblock error on boot for /dev/md0. cat /proc/mdstat reports no RAID devices. I can see my two drives, but trying to mount /dev/md0 gives that bad superblock problem. mdadm -detail -scan shows nothing. How can I make this thing mount at boot?
I've search everywhere, but nothing has helped... This seems fairly simple though, so I may have missed something.
I'm using Debian 3.1 Stable, Sarge.
