Quitting Links 2 freezes my computer

Hello, I recently downloaded and compiled Links 2. This version allows you to surf with pictures. It works great.

But if I File --> Exit or kill it, my computer locks up hard. I mean, I loose my monitor & keyboard signal.

If I could get this to work, I don't think I'd ever need to start xfree ever again(A webbrowser & terminals are the only X apps I ever run anyway)

Any suggestions on fixing this, or is it a bug?

P.S. Also, I have to run links as root to get graphical mode to work... It talkes about a regular user not having permission. I can understand why, but it seems like a wierd limitation for a web browser of all things. Any idea on how to fix that?

Thanks
-Jared
