If you can't turn it off, how do you know it's on?

er, using eyes..
the letters look 'blurry/soft', etc.
I've compiled qt5ct with no luck. In Qt4, there used to be config utility; Qt5 should use system settings, but I'm on LXDE.

edit: forgot to say, I'm using 'infinality'

finnaly, I've managed it with './infctl.sh setstyle', reboot
It looks fantastic now, infinality is great!
