QEMU Guest having no internet

For some reason my QEMU guest no longer can connect to the internet. I have no idea what changed but it was working just a few days ago.

I have an Ubuntu host and a debian guest. Any ideas what I might be missing ?

ifconfig maybe and/or dig and/or nslookup are commands to start with and throw in tracert.

Qemu as many VM's can use the hosts network in one of a few ways too. That info may be needed also. Bridged or nat or local may be important.
