I'm having immense problems installing Redhat 8 on one of my machines at home. The CD boots from either drive allowing me only to opt for the text setup then it hangs whilst trying to install the OHI1391 drivers. The hardware spec for the machine in question is as follows: Athlon XP 1800 Processor 512MB PC333 DDR RAM 2 x 7200rpm 80GB HDD's Floppy/ CDROM/ CDWriter MSI Geforce4 Ti4600 Graphics RealTek 10/100 LAN SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum Internal Win98/XP Pro dual booting I can install Redhat 8 on my other machine. The hardware spec for that is as follows: PIII800MHz Processor 512MB RAM 1 x 7200rpm 60GB HDD 1 x 7200rpm 40GB HDD Floppy/ CDROM/ CDWriter MSI Gerforce4 Ti4600 Graphics RealTek 10/100 LAN Win98/Win2k dual booting Just out of curiousity I managed to put Redhat 7.3 on the Athlon XP machine without any hiccups. Any help would be appreciated Thank you in advance
