My thoughts on it is how much information they collect, how it is stored and when will it be leaked/stolen.

If they track me to a website, for example a bank website, and someone that shouldn't have that info gets it. Then how secure am I if they find a way to use that knowledge against me. Besides I hate the idea of being followed, even online. Feels a little eerie.

For the same reason I wouldn't like being followed on the street, or having someone read my mail, peep through my windows, tap my phone, etc. I don't want to spend any time trying to figure out what exactly they want.

I am not sure if this is the right place to discuss security issue.
