Photoshop & Illustrator CS3

Hi,

I have been doing some research into getting Photoshop and Illustrator CS3 working on Linux. I have heard so many conflicting views on the subject that I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone can help me! I am prepared to do a good bit of hacking and I do not expect the program to run seamlessly.

I have been using GIMP and Inkscape recently but I just can't get my head around them - and frankly I don't want to learn how to use these graphical programs again!

I would appreciate any help you can give me. I have a copy of Adobe CS3 Master Collection and I am running Fedora 10.

Thanks
Conor

You can do it, but it is a lot of effort, and doesn't work as cleanly as Gimp/Inkscape do.

You can 'skin' Gimp, and have it look exactly like Photoshop. And a small learning curve isn't a bad thing, when you gain more speed and stability, IMHO.

At this stage I just don't think that using GIMP or Inkscape are options...

I might just install CS3 in a virtualbox.
