Adobe Illustrator vs. Photoshop

What is the difference between them? UI wise, they look the same, what can one do that the other one cannot?

You couldn't read the descriptions to get an idea?

Illustrator is geared more towards vector artwork, creating graphics and such for printing, video, web, etc.. I see it more as a tool or application for publishing needs.

Photoshop is more for editing photo's, photography, graphic editing and design. I see it geared more for those photography, creating images in different formats, etc.
