How do you know? Did you manage to print a CUPS test page?

You can see your printer in the print dialog in OOo?
Do you mean "refuses to print anything" or do you mean to say that it will print some documents but not others?

Can you print from any other apps?

The test printing in yast after I configure the printer is perfect.
If I ask in openoffice the printer settings it shows me what kind of printer I do have
If I try to print in openoffice it does not matter what it is it says that send it to the printer but the printer does not react at all

Does it still have the jobs in the printing queue? When I had problems like that it was a permission thing ... can you print as root?
