I am planning to install Debian 2.2R4 asI have in the past, but in the past it was unsuccessfully because I got a netinstall CD and I couldnt configure my NIC even after the install so I couldnt apt-get anything, i have the driver e100whatever.o but I haveno idea how to install it before the install or during it so it can get the appropriate packages since I dunno what i need exactly

Frequently with some of the leaser used network cards the drivers aren't included on the floppy for space reasons. If you happen to have access to an ne or tulip compatable NIC they are very good choices. However if you can't simple change the net card perhaps a network install for you isn't the best say to go. If you have access to a burner debian can, well almost build a cd for you to use so it's a smaller d/l, and it includes the drivers you would require so you can apt-get the stuff that wasn't required. They also have ISOs. And a base system can still be installed from floppies, mind you it's like up to 12 now or something so it's hardly the best route based on the reliable floppy.
