what do you use for playing music and movie under Fedora? I can play wav form, but not mp3 and some other movie form file, like avi, rm, and mkv.
When I play them, just said missing decoder. Update those items following the suggesstion, just got error message. What can I do? or What can you recommend?

Does that include Mplayer, Mplayer2 and VLC? (Considering open source software could somehow have the possibility of being tainted with patents, more obviously with sublibraries or modules).
