Currently, I have years worth of emails stored in MS Outlook format. Can anyone please give me some pointers on how I may go about converting all this so that I may view my emails in Linux? I plan to be using Netscape Mail...

HHHmmmmm ya can always forward 'em all to yourself and read/store them thru your new Email.

yes i have done this , but i did not use netscap , i used mozila mail (i also a project of netscap) from http://www.mozilla.org/ download both windows and linux versions. firust isntall windows version on same machin where you outlook is running, it can import email from ms oulook . onec you import all email in mozila, open mozila mail and click on edit and click on mail & news group account settings if u already creat and account click on local folder will show u path where mozlla mails are store.

Juts copy this mail folder to linux box

now in linux box install mozila mail for linux and copy above mail folder in same mozila mail location aftre restart mozila mail , urs all outlook mails will be in linux box

this is easiest way in my experince becouse i spend alot of time for this issue and tried many linux mail software but mozila is best with this u can revers urs mail from linux to windows.
