Mandrake Box

Hi,

I have a mandrake box running a firewall.

Our ISP cut our line but restored after a few days

The firewall has been blocking the net access to a network.

When I restarted the box, the screen showed Eth0 and Eth1
(We have two nic in it)

My problem is that the previous Net Admin did not document the logon.

I need to get into do some resetting

Appreaciate it very much if someone could show me the way.

Thanks

Raman

P.S. The login is not right but it looks like the password might be right.

You are going to do a lot better than this if you want help.

What version of Mandrake? What firewall? How configured?

What does this mean?

What does this mean? This is the firewall running on the mandrake box? Does this mean you have a LAN that this box routes to the internet?

Why did you restart the box? Was this motivated by some need or problem?

What does this mean? Do you not have root access?

To obtain worthwhile help. you must be very explicit and detailed in setting forth exactly what the problem is, to the best of your understanding. This means you specify the configuration completely, and you specify what you have done and what you don't know how to do. When you have done this, I or someone will be able to get you going.

You should take note of the fact that I am the 23rd viewer of your post and the first to respond. Probably several of the previous viewers elected not to respond because of your vague statement of the problem.
