First place to start will be to find that address, and see if perhaps a selective startup, omitting certain entries such as particular device-mounts or modprobes, isolates the problem. Presuming also that the problem appeared "recently," what did you do/change "recently?"

RE : Machine crash - Fedora Kernel error

Thanks for your attention.

The problem is that we had done nothing (in that period we have ours holydays) and so don't understand what happened. Now i've reistalled machine and restarted it (my customers forced me), so is not possible for me doing what you suggest. There is another way to understand the problem ? I've the logs.

Something say the Fedora Core 1 (legacy project) is a not stable release and is possible the system corrupts itselfs in unpredictable situation.

I'm not sure of this. Have you some experiences ?

Thx

No experience with that but I do know that Fedora is currently on Core 4 which implies that a lot have changed and updated. Any reason to stick to Core 1?

Ther is no particular reason. Is possible to change to another distribution, but after this problem i ask me what is the more stable linux distribution for my server and for my customers.

Have you any hits ? Free or not free ?

Thx.
