Unhappy Kernel-Source rpm Install/Uninstall error in Fedora

I tried to install kernel-source-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.i386.rpm on my Fedora from disc3, but the installation failed with an error message at about 50% and now I can't install it again because it says that it's already installed. When I try to uninstall kernel parts with Add/Remove applications it gives an error that it can't find What should I do to install this kernel-source. Should I reinstall Fedora or is there a better solution. Thanks in advance.

]#rpm -q packagename
(rpm -q kernel)

that will list rpms matching the query.

]#rpm -e packagename removes the package (but specify exactly, if there are more than one package.)
