kmail failing
it have found a fairly annoying bug in KDE's Kmail program.
i have run into this bug on every distro that uses KDE 3.2
it will not allow mail to be sent out with earthlink ISP, it may affect other ISP's too.
Kmail worked fine for years with earthlink.
anyways here is an output of the error
Sending failed:
Could not connect to host smtp.earthlink.net
The message will stay in the 'outbox' folder until you either fix the problem (e.g. a broken address) or remove the message from the 'outbox' folder.

usally say something along the lines of plain method no supported by server, like hell it isnt. what do you think i have been useing for the past 5 years. i then click "see what server supports" it selects something. however this doesnt work. this will randomy cause it to affect recieving mail, it which it will totaly fail.
i have used all the default setting which have worked for years.
this has to be a bug in the program.
if anyone else is getting this issue and has fixed it please tell me how.
i cant really downgrade to KDE 3.1 so to speak.
sylpheed was working
some friends are also having issues with this
