Keyboard and Mouse hanged

Hi expert out there..

I was trying to configure my RH9 to become a proxy server. Installed wif squid and did the configurations according to SOP.

I add this line into /etc/modules.conf

Insmod-opt = -f

Tats all... and when I reboot my system, it said there's an error in Line 10 in my modules.conf and then when it come to my login screen, my mouse and keyboard doesnt work.

I reset my PC and try to upgrade my RH9 package, for the first time, my keyboard and mouse works... then when i reboot again, it failed. I tried upgrading again, but it doesnt work anymore...

Is there anyway I can remove the line added in modules.conf?? I just dun wanna re-format everything, if thr's other option.

If you have a dual boot system with windows on it, there's a file explorer that can read ext2 partitions.
The file browser is called explore2fs (if I remember good). Once you have it installed, you can edit the file to delete anything you need from it.

Hope it helps

Use a rescue CD, or a Live CD.
