Angry KDM at startup


Hello,

does anyone know how to set kdm as the default login manager at startup?

Edit /etc/inittab and change the default runlevel from 3 to 4. You would have saved yourself time by using the search facility on this site or google.

Its important that you provide as much detail as you can in your original question, so that we give you accurate answers.

You need to edit /etc/rc.d/rc.4 and quote out the lines referring to gdm by putting #'s at the beginning.
