KDE Konquerer File association

Hi,
I have screwed the file association for Konquerer and am getting this message when I try to go up the file tree , no prb opening further down the tree,

There appears to be a configuration error. You have associated Konqueror with inode/directory, but it can't handle this file type.

This is only for one user, I checked another user and in inode/directory the associations were Konquerer and Civeria, I placed these in the 1st user config but still get the same message.
Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks

I don't understand the exact nature of your problem, but if you're convinced your Konqueror configuration is messed up, you can always try deleting the Konqueror configuration file(s) inside of ~/.kde. If you're desperate or don't care about doing all of your KDE configuration again, you can just try deleting the whole ~/.kde directory. Whatever you do, KDE should recognize if a config file is missing and replace it with a new one with default values.
