Kaffeine and amaroK in openSUSE

I'm having a pretty hard time getting Kaffeine to play these wmv, mov & avi videos, and also getting amaroK to play an mp3. When I try to play something in Kaffeine or amaroK, it just jumps to the end of the video/mp3 and stops, as though it has a length of 0.

Can someone tell me how to get Kaffeine and amaroK working in openSUSE?

Its 64bit version, if it matters.

you need to download and install the necessary codecs for those file types. they aren't included by default. google add suse repositories and you'll get a page on opensuse's website that tells you how to do this

Yeh I already did that and it didn't work. So I decided to move to the evaluation version, I installed the codecs (mplayer) and now it works like a beute'.

However, I still can't get WMVs playing properly. All I hear is the audio, no video.
